We are a husband and wife team (Rajan and Cora) and between us, we have edited over 200 books.
Most of these books are novels, some by debutante authors, and others by those who have a book or two to their name.
We have covered various genres, fiction, nonfiction, short stories, and poetry. The genres include historical, autobiographical, crime, thrillers, science fiction, philosophy, romance, urban fantasy, short stories, motivational, spiritual, poetry, financial management, and essays.
We have edited some serious novels, which require considerable background research. This could be pertaining to a particular era or pertaining to an event.
We have edited non-fiction books on financial management, marketing, essays, philosophy, creativity, LGBT, and war stories of the armed forces of the 1971 Bangladesh War, among others.
Rajan has edited the Damrong Pinkoon series of marketing books for Jaico: ‘The Market Know How’ ‘CEO Know How’, and ‘Dreams Come True’.
For Oxford University Press, we have edited a 900 plus page book on Financial Management.

In addition to the above, we also edit books directly for authors, where we do development editing giving detailed suggestions on plot, character, flow, style, language enhancement, besides the basic copy editing for grammar and style, punctuation etc.
Cora has about ten years of experience in editing books.
She graduated in Economics and Political Science from the Bombay University. She holds a Diploma in Mass Communications and Advertising from St. Xavier’s’ College, Bombay. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Fashion Designing, from the Premlila Vithaldas, S.N.D.T. University, Bombay, where she was judged as the best designer.
She was a journalist for two and a half years and has worked with Midday, Bombay Magazine, and Blitz among others. She has also freelanced for Economic Times, Femina, Eves Weekly, apparel trade magazines, and other magazines. She has over 30 year’s experience in Merchandising, Sourcing and Buying in the international apparel industry, where marketing and merchandising was her forte.
She has completed a creative writing course that covered plot, style, description and character.
Rajan has attended the three years course in Marketing Management at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management. In addition to the above, he holds a BA degree in Psychology and MA degree in Sociology from the Bombay University. Besides this, he has a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. He has worked in the advertising industry and in the publishing industry. He was with the Bennet Coleman and Co., (The Times of India group), for eight years, and with Business India Group for 18 years. He has had the privilege of working in both sides of the publishing industry – on the management side, as well as journalism side. He retired in March 2013 as a General Manager with Business India, and since then he has been editing books.
